Welcome!

Ethan and I would like to welcome you to our lives. We plan to use this site to keep everybody updated on our whereabouts and will try to keep it somewhat current by posting pictures, stories, and news about what is going on. For family, this will be a great spot to stay informed about our newest addition (making her debut around October 14th, 2008). Feel free to check in every once in a while. Hopefully the pictures and stories will keep our world a bit closer to yours.

We had a great time at our Baby BBQ this past Sunday (August 10th) and loved being surrounded by our friends and family as we celebrated the impending arrival of Baby Girl Solomon, now affectionately referred to as "Wee-Dogg." It's hard to believe that we have only a few short months to go, and the festivities made us that much more excited for our daughter to arrive. There is so much happening between now and October that the time is going to fly by! We'll post new pictures soon of "the belly," which is getting bigger by the minute. The doctor's most recent report is that baby and mom are healthy and perfect in every way. Here's to continued success and joy-filled times!

The picture above is the cake from our BBQ. One of the highlights of the event was when a student of mine (now almost ten years old) asked me, "Mrs. Solomon, why does the cake say 'Well Done, Ethan?'" I couldn't help but laugh before I told her it was another way of saying "Congratulations on becoming a Daddy!" Thanks to my family for hosting such a fun fete!
