Vacation!

Now that I am officially on summer break, my hope is to keep the blog more current and to take lots, and lots of photos! Maddy and I have had a great start to our summer. Admittedly, the thought of all our uninterrupted time is a bit intimidating (who knew that I would be such a happy working mother?) but I'm sure we'll find ways to fill up our days. Today we went on two 3-mile walks, one of which took place in the early morning hours, and one of which enabled us to catch up with our good friends, Marissa and Liam. I have us signed up for some classes, including a swimming class at the YMCA and a developmental playgroup called "Movers and Groovers." Ethan and Maddy will also be taking a music class together, a fitting way for them to spend a Saturday morning hour. All of this starts up in the next couple of weeks. I'm really looking forward to having a chance to spend quality family time together this summer. The pace of this past year was often unbearable; it will be wonderful to slow down a bit, have time to relax and play, and indulge my baby as much as possible!
