Maddy had a very difficult day today. Therefore, MOMMY had a very difficult day today. We were stuck indoors because of the rain, and Maddy was fussy and whiny for reasons that have yet to make themselves known; I'm hoping it's a tooth and not pre-adolescence! Since this blog is supposed to be about our adventures, it seems only fair to include our misadventures as well: the good, the bad, and the ugly! I would say that days don't get much worse than this, but that's so not true. I suppose one might even consider this a quite reasonable, and even happy, day. In spite of her mood, Maddy looked very cute thanks to a bandana that I wrapped around her little bald head. We had the chance to visit with my friend Ashley, in town for a few days before her continued hydrology adventures send her to Ghana (and then India?) for six months. Uncle Josh also arrived for his much anticipated visit. So, I suppose there is lots to be grateful for at the end of this very long day. I'll hope for sunnier days all around to come!
