MS Dogg Walk

Today was the much anticipated MS Dogg-Walk. I am happy to report that Team Solomon raised over $2500 to support MS research, and we were so thrilled to be joined in the Berkshires by many family members and friends, all of whom drove at least a few hours to walk beside us. The weather couldn't have been more picture-perfect; the scene was literally breathtaking. It was a crisp, cool autumn morning with clear blue skies and bright sunshine that slowly warmed the day. The mountains that served as the backdrop for our excursion were already spotty with fall color, and there were more than a few moments when I had to stop and just take in the magnificence of the moment. Once we returned to the starting point, we were all able to enjoy some BBQ and lazily lounge around for continued conversation and leisure. It was a gorgeous day in every aspect and my heart is brimming with gratitude for friends, family, and mostly excellent health.

Maddy was delightful and easy through the entirety of the day, and caught up on some much needed sleep during our ride back to Watertown. Of course, the real star of the day was Ethan, in whose honor we were there and who we all love immeasurably. I know it has been hard for him to process the events of these past few months, but his courage, flexibility, and trademark coolness have been a source of inspiration for everybody. I know this day meant a lot to him, as it did for me. Thank you to everybody who joined us either in body or spirit. We are so appreciative!
